Shot, stabbed, almost beaten to death and nearly blown to bits - all before he was 21. From the Paras to the SAS, this is Robin Horsfall's incredible personal history.
Robin Horsfall shot and killed on of the terrorists when the SAS stored the Iranian Embassy in 1980. He served with the SAS during the Falklands War on subsequent counterterrorist operations. Like many SAS men, he came from the Parachute Regiment with which he had served two tours in Northern Ireland, fighting both the IRA and loyalist terrorists.
From boy-solider to parachutist, SAS man, Dodi Fayed's bodyguard and international mercenary, Robin Horsfall's military career has taken him to the deserts of Oman, the jungles of South America and the African bush. His moving no-holds-barred story reveals what goes on in our hero's heads when there is no turning back.
Robin Horsfall is now a very successful Shukokai Karate teacher. Married with five children, he lives in london. Visit his website at www.robinhorsfall.co.uk.
